HALLOWEEN FILM SCREENING

The Youth Channels Halloween Film Screening on October 28th is an event in which involves Scary Horror films made by youth and targeted towards youth from all over NYC.

This event is sure to be a cool way to start your Halloween. Eat free food, watch cool bloody videos made By Youth.  There will be a special effects workshop conducted by professional Costume and Make up designer Chelsea Manifold. She will teach you all the cool and in expensive ways to trick and  treat your friends.  

This is an open event, so bring your friends to MNN Tv Studios. If you have cool scary films/videos you'd like to submit for the screening email us as well. This screening is sure to provide you with Great tips on how to dress-up before Halloween comes. Come and learn how you can make your own costumes and do your own makeup for that scary day, Halloween.

channelAustin: digital fusion fest

channelAustin is set to unveil its $1 million technological transformation and cutting edge opportunities for digital media production and distribution.

On Saturday, October 10, 2009 city leaders will help relaunch Austin’s own community television studios as a fully operational high definition digital media center poised to meet the expanded needs of Austin’s creative community.

The October event – aptly dubbed the digital fusion fest – will feature an afternoon of activities ranging from live music to blue screen fantasies for kids, all designed to awe our community and to showcase transformed studios and equipment.

Call for Entries: 4th Annual ATA Film & Video Festival

Artists' Television Access invites experimental film and video makers to submit their work (20 minutes or less) to its 4th Annual ATA Film and Video Festival. Video, Super 8 and 16 mm, animation, documentary, narrative, abstract, found footage based and other works will be accepted.

The ATA Film and Video Festival is committed to showcasing films and videos that use an unconventional stylistic and technical approach and bring up subjects or concepts that not only entertain, but also provoke, our diverse audience. The festival also includes installations in ATA's Mission District storefront gallery, a lunch for the filmmakers, and new in our 4th year, a discussion forum for the exchange of ideas amongst filmmakers, curators and audiences.

ATA hosts a series of film and video screenings, exhibitions and performances by emerging and established artists and a weekly cable access television program.
